They came out totally to die for! Excellent recipe, I will be making more very soon (as this batch is not going to last long...) My first scone was in Washington at the Puyallup Fair. Fluffy, buttery and full of blackberry jam. I was a kid, and angry with my mom for making me stand in line with her for this thing called a SCONE but I secretly died and thought I'd gone to ... well, at least purgatory.
