I hate Coke when I am healthy but having now had my first bout of the tomach flu without my mother to baby me, I was very grateful to the friend who bought me a liter of Coke, The flatter it got the better it was (how gross is that!) I knew i was better when i couldn't stand the stuff anymore! My mother always gave us ginger ale or Coke, especially for nausea. Who admits that. I'm only happy that there's not one near where I live. I would control myself if there were one. I tell myself. I can relate to loving both fine food and crap food. Like TV and film there's art house and Buffy. Who doesn't love grilled cheese, bread slathered in butter both sides!?
