When I was in Sicily a few years ago, visiting relatives, they took me to a wonderful village in an area when artichokes were grown. Even the statue in the town square was of an artichoke. We went to a small restaurant where EVERY course was an artichoke in one form or the other. Sorry to say that I don't remember the name of the town. Maybe someone here knows of it.
