Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful day full of food, fun, and family. I’m in central California and spent Thanksgiving at my grandparents house with my husband, dad, sister, aunts, uncles, tons of cousins, and of course my grandma and grandpa. We had a full house and a huge meal (two turkeys!) and I’m just now escaping my turkey coma. Today will be the one day this month that you’re not going to get a recipe or photo out of me, but I’ll be back tomorrow! Now it’s time to go sneak one more slice of pie. Good night!

Back to Normal

At least I hope everything is back to normal.  If you’re just tuning in, this post will explain everything.

I think I have all of the recipes restored now and the knife contest is officially starting over.  Please visit the original post and leave a new comment if you would like to be in the drawing for the 9-inch chef’s knife from New West KnifeWorks.

Happy Veterans Day

Please take a moment to think about the men and women, husbands and wives, sons and daughters that are serving our country today, and those that have served in the past.  I wish I could hug my veteran today, but he, like so many of them, doesn’t get to take this holiday.

Girls Night Out on Twitter

Just a quick note to let you know that I’ll be participating in a Twitter event tomorrow Called Girls Night Out, or, GNO for short.  I was contacted by the ladies of Mommy Gossip GNO to see if I would be the ‘Guest Tweet’ at their weekly online gossip gathering.

So, are you confused yet?  I was, too.  But basically, there is a growing group of women that get together on Twitter every Tuesday night for a couple hours of conversation around a particular topic. And by conversation, I mean, people around the world gathered in a virtual room chattering all at once!  This week’s topic is holiday food and I will be there, trying my hardest to keep up!

I have no idea what this will be like but you should know by now that if there’s anything I love to talk tweet about, it’s food!  I’ll be using a new twitter account that I set up specifically for this event, so if you’re interested in what I’ll be talking about on Tuesday night, you can follow me here.
