Today my guest post on Maple Butternut Pudding is being featured at Eating Rules as part of the October Unprocessed Challenge. I revamped one of my favorite Fall desserts, Butternut Squash Pudding, to make it suitable for the challenge. Head over to Eating Rules to see how it turned out.

While it’s hard to believe that another year has flown by, I have to say that I’m more than ready to move on. Goodbye, 2010, I’ve learned a lot from you, but you won’t be missed. I’m heading into this new year arms outstretched, with open heart and mind, ready to learn, experience, and share. Continue reading →

Pretty, aren’t they? These delicate, crisp, lightly sweetened Scandinavian Rosettes are as delicious as they are beautiful. The “cookies” are made from a thin, crepe-like batter that is quickly deep fried on specially shaped irons. I chose to focus on brussels sprouts because they are currently available on the stalk and I think it’s fun to take home a giant, awkward stalk of brussels sprouts! Continue reading →

I love pudding. Chocolate pudding, vanilla pudding, tapioca pudding, rice pudding, butterscotch pudding… you name it, I love it. I love pudding made from scratch. I love pudding that comes from a little cardboard box. And when I was a kid, I loved the pudding on my school lunch tray. So it should come as no surprise that I love this rich and creamy homemade butternut squash pudding – it’s pudding! Plus, it’s amazing. Continue reading →
