Ah, so you’re that girl … the one snapping photos of late night private conversations. You need to be careful! Love the photo though — the wet pavement, the lighting, the old building.

Thanks, everyone. This is one of my favorite shots from Sicily, was taken back in 2005 I believe. Since I knew absolutely nothing about photography back then, getting a shot like this was completely accidental 😉

Great shot. I love the lighting and the wet pavement and the intensity of the conversation. They did not even know you were there.

I second Meagan’s statement…I would love it hanging in my house as well! This is an amazing shot.

Awesome photo. You even captured the animated conversation. I could almost smell the wine and fresh bread. Thank you.

What a gorgeous, atmospheric photo! Almost like a Rembrandt painting. Lovely.

Elisa and I love this photo, and of all your sicily shots, it’s my favorite. It reminds me of Caravaggio, some of his stuff is up at the museum in Messina. He could make things come out of the shadows and darkness by looking at the painting from different angles. OH, and he did some graphic stuff too, like David with Goliaths head in his hands…
