Actually, there are two winners. But you knew that already, right?
First of all, I want to say how thrilled I am that so many of you participated in this contest. I read every single one of your comments and I wish that I could send a gorgeous new knife to each of you! I am glad that I decided to select the winners randomly because I would never have been able to choose between the 329 readers who left comments! So many sad stories and so many sad knives!
But let’s get to winners, shall we?
I used the Random Integer Generator from Random.org. I figured it was easier than putting 329 pieces of paper in a hat! The first number I chose was the winner of the Fusionwood Chopper. I ran the generator and this was my result:
Here are your random numbers:
207

As you can see, the winner was comment #207. Luckily, the comments are already numbered for me when I check my blog stats so it was easy for me to see that comment #207 belongs to Lara Harris. Here is her winning comment:
My husband and I recently moved back to the US from Australia and somehow my husband’s good kitchen knives seemed to have disappeared along the way. He took a number of cooking courses in Australia as he is from Sydney, so I know he would truly appreciate these knives! God bless!
Congratulations, Lara!!
The second winner will receive the beautiful Phoenix Petty. I ran the integer generator again and this was my result:
Here are your random numbers:
301

And comment #301 belongs to John. Here is John’s winning comment:
Being able to slice up a tomato without turning it into mush would be really nice, but I’d need a great knife to do that. These qualify, please pick me!
Congratulations, John!!
I will be contacting Lara and John by e-mail shortly and the knives will be mailed out ASAP!
Again, thanks to everyone for participating. This contest turned out to be just as exciting for me as it was for you! Thanks again to New West Knife Works for sponsoring such an amazing giveaway!
