I will not be able to post any new recipes for a few weeks as my grandmother passed away unexpectedly and I made an emergency trip back to the states.¬† Thanks to all who have been leaving nice comments and I am sorry that I have been unable to respond.¬† Hope you will keep reading…I’ll be back soon with some recipes dedicated to my grandmother, Gigi.¬†

    Oh Nicole, That sounds very hard. I hope your trip there and back is smooth, and that your time in the states offers some consolation for the rest of your family. I think it's quite true that food connects us to our past as few other things do and think you're very wise to think of offering this as a memory of your grandmother, when you feel up to it. I'll be checking back and thinking about you often (every time I bake something with pumpkin or whole wheat for starters), Lily

    Hi. My Mom told me that she saw you at Gigi's funeral. I am so sorry to hear about your loss. Your Grandmother was a wonderful, special person. I've enjoyed reading your blog today.
