Very beautiful area. It's so cool seeing rocks on the shoreline.

Very pretty. I recently watched "Play Misty for Me" (I figured I had to get to it sooner or later, since my name is Misty), which is set in Carmel, which looks similar to your second shot here. I have a feeling these were a bit further south though.

Beautiful pictures. The last one looks like it's from Cayucos, but I guess there are a lot of beaches that look like that. I love the flowers.

I took a long walk along there (The Recreation Trail in Monterey/Pacific Grove)yesterday with my dog and it was really as beautiful as I have ever seen it, especially after 5 days of fog!

I have not been on 17 mile drive for a few years. It is funny that those who live close hardly ever go. :o) I love this area of Pacific Grove.

Ohhh... That makes me homesick for So. Cal--- San Diego... Not sure where your pictures are taken.. but the first and third ones could be somewhere in San Diego.. even if these are taken farther up the coast.. BEAUTIFUL shots.. Thanks for sharing.. I've been in France for almost 4 years now and I can honestly say from all the travel I've done -- There's NO place like Cali!! Take care, Leesa

I'm leaving soon for a two week trip to San Francisco and the Russian River Valley. Way further north than these photos but I'm so excited. Love all the wild flowers and the rugged coastline. Beautiful!

Just about 1 year ago, my husband and I took this awesome trip where we flew to San Diego (we live in SC) then drove all the way up the coast over a few days before hanging out with family in Sacramento. I remember that tree! It makes me so want to come back.... Sigh.

Oh my! This is where I eat my lunch most days of the week. I work in Pacific Grove, and I still appreciate the fact that this is HOME! The blooming ice plant is spectacular right now!
