That first photo is so evocative I swear I can smell the wet leaves (but not the wet goats fortunately!).

So, Nicole. You tweeted that your Wordless Wednesdays were going to be mostly non-food shots and then you lead with a shot of goats?!? That's food times two: Chevre and goat meat! Sorry, but I've posted about both recently, so they're totally on my mind. Beautiful, beautiful photos, all of them. I can see why you sometimes miss Sicily.

I want to crawl through the screen and into the first picture. The mist and the mountain and the lovely herd of goats.

Love all three of the photos, but especially the one of the goats -- reminds me of a sea of bleating sheep that blocked our way over an old stone bridge near Chatsworth house in Derbyshire England when we visited a few years ago. Unfortunately, my hard drive crashed when we returned and I lost all my photos... ; ( How wonderful that you are now sharing yours!

These are absolutely gorgeous pics. I love the mist. I feel transported - it's almost as if I can hear the hush of nature, and only the footsteps of the goats, or the quiet crash of the waves on the shore...amazing.
