Deviled Eggs for the 4th of July

July 2, 2010 by Nicole 10 Comments

Deviled Eggs

Don’t forget the deviled eggs this weekend!  Friends and family love these Deviled Eggs so much that the whole plate disappears quickly no matter how many I make.  I’ve learned that I need to hide a couple in the refrigerator if I want to eat any myself.  For an added kick, try sprinkling smoked paprika on top.

I think they disappear because they are such a perfect bite-sized snack. People can eat as many as you serve and would still come back for more. I'm guilty!

Deviled eggs are my favorite! My family loves them. They only last a few minutes on our holiday tables.

I don't have a pastery bag but I use a ziplock bag. Put the bag in a short glass [helps to hold the bag while you are filling it] and put the filling in the bag. Cut off a corner of the bag and pipe the filling in the eggs. I always make 1 extra egg so I have plenty of filling and if I have extra I pipe it on my finger and eat it. What could be better any time of year than deviled eggs.
